Job Description
PayPay Card Corporation is seeking a Database Administrator to enhance its financial services in Japan. The DBA will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing database operations to support PayPay Card products. This role involves ensuring efficient, stable, and optimized storage services for mission-critical systems.
The Database Administrator will be responsible for:
- Managing day-to-day database operations, including monitoring, configuration, upgrades, and scaling.
- Improving database operations through automation and tooling.
- Managing backups, replication, and disaster recovery strategies.
- Implementing and maintaining database security policies.
- Troubleshooting performance and stability issues.
- Collaborating with engineering teams to design scalable data models.
The ideal candidate should possess:
- More than 5 years of DBA experience with ORACLE or MySQL.
- More than 3 years of AWS experience.
- Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Shell, etc.).
- English business proficiency.
