Platform Engineer

Job Description

PayPay Card Corporation is seeking a skilled Cloud Infrastructure and Platform Engineer to join their team. This role is crucial for engineering robust, reliable, and cost-efficient cloud infrastructure platforms, ensuring the best experience for PayPay Card's expanding customer base. The engineer will work within PayPay Card, a FinTech service provider integrated with the PayPay payment platform, which boasts over 69 million users.

Responsibilities include:

• Architecting and building scalable and stable infrastructure.
• Ensuring maintainability during patching and upgrades.
• Implementing AWS regional level failure tolerance.
• Collaborating with Security Engineers to provision secure infrastructure.
• Automating AWS deployments for fast service delivery.
• Providing automation for developers to easily deploy resources on AWS.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of technical experience in Cloud-based Infrastructure Platforms.
• Strong understanding of Cloud security best practices and payment industry compliance.
• Expertise in designing and troubleshooting large-scale streaming systems using Kafka.
• Expertise in building platforms based on NoSQL datastores like DynamoDB and Redis.
• Extensive experience with Computing, Storage, and Analytical Services on AWS.
• Experience with IAC tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Proficiency in Python and Shell Scripting.
• Excellent communication skills.
