Part-Time Medical Assistant

Job Description

Herself Health is seeking a Part-Time Primary Care Medical Assistant to provide clinical, clerical, and technical support to physicians and advanced practice clinicians in a primary care setting. This role focuses on delivering excellent patient care, maintaining smooth clinical operations, and supporting the clinical team. The candidate will be expected to float to other clinics based on staffing needs.Role involves:

• Rooming patients efficiently
• Scheduling patient appointments and assisting patients with their portal
• Ensuring forms, consents, and billing requests are completed
• Obtaining blood samples via venipuncture
• Performing EMR data entry and medication list reviews
• Measuring and recording patient vital signs
• Preparing rooms and equipment for examinations
• Cleaning and disinfecting examination rooms
• Handling patient inquiries and managing phone calls
• Supporting chronic disease management
• Administering IM injectables and medications
• Monitoring and maintaining medical supply inventory
• Rotating clinic float support as needed

Requirements:

• Authorized to work in the United States
• Active Medical Assistant diploma or certification
• Training in phlebotomy
• Concierge-level customer service and strong work ethic
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Effective communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
