Job Description
Valon is seeking a Technical Recruiter to help grow their engineering team. The role is based in New York City or San Francisco. The Technical Recruiter will work closely with engineering and product leadership to strategically source, engage, and hire world-class software engineers. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and comfortable owning the entire recruiting process while delivering a best-in-class candidate experience.
Role Involves:
- Driving full-cycle recruiting for engineering and technical roles.
- Partnering with hiring managers to understand technical hiring needs.
- Developing creative sourcing strategies to attract top-tier talent.
- Delivering an exceptional candidate experience.
- Maintaining accurate data in Greenhouse and using metrics to inform decisions.
- Utilizing tools like Gem and LinkedIn Recruiter to build talent pipelines.
- Collaborating with the broader People team on headcount planning and onboarding.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of technical recruiting experience with agency and in-house roles.
- Strong knowledge of software engineering roles and market dynamics.
- Demonstrated success recruiting in fast-paced startup environments.
- Hands-on experience with ATS and modern recruiting tools like Greenhouse and Gem.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple open roles.
- Clear, persuasive communication skills.
- Analytical mindset.
- Proactive, collaborative, and flexible team player.

- Annual base compensation between $127,000–$172,000 with meaningful equity, plus a 401(k) plan
