Sotheby's is seeking a Client Advisor for The Salon at York Ave, an extension of their online marketplace located within Sotheby's New York flagship galleries. The Salon offers clients access to authenticated luxury items across jewels, time pieces, handbags, fine art, and more. The Client Advisor will play a crucial role in providing superior client service, increasing client conversion and retention, and driving business revenue.
Responsibilities:
Serve as Brand Ambassador for Sotheby’s
Lead the recruitment of new clients
Build brand awareness through client outreach
Maintain knowledge of Sotheby’s auction, sale and exhibition calendars
Liaise with Specialists, Account Managers and Business Getters
Achieve and exceed individual Sales Goals and Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
Support operational needs and initiatives
Participate in auction, exhibition and private sale related sales and client outreach
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree required
Self-motivated, with customer service mindset and creative problem solving skills
2+ years of sales experience in a luxury retail setting
Excellent interpersonal, organization and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
Curiosity for current on-goings and trends in the art and fashion industries
