Job Description
Interactive Brokers is seeking an Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) Analyst to join their team in Budapest. The analyst will conduct EDD reviews on higher-risk client accounts, gaining exposure to a wide range of products and client types.   • Conducting EDD reviews on existing IBKR customers.
  • Evaluating information from public searches for negative news and source of funds.
  • Reviewing regulatory inquiries and cashiering activity.
  • Evaluating and resolving negative news and potential PEP matches.
  • Supporting the Head of EDD and working with AML, Trade Surveillance, and Special Investigations Teams.
  • Achieving key performance indicators and adhering to KYC/EDD procedures.
  • Liaising with the 1LOD on new initiatives and ensuring compliance with AML policies.
  • Assisting with external audits and regulatory visits.
  • Ensuring AML policies are current and implemented.
  • Developing communication with other jurisdictions to leverage best practices.
Requirements:
  • At least 2+ years' experience in AML compliance.
  • A Bachelor's degree in law, business, finance, or accounting preferred, or CAMS or similar ICA Diploma.
  • Good knowledge of EU and UK regulations and European Directives in connection with KYC/EDD/CIP requirements.
  • Good analytical skills and experience with MS Office.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work in a small team as well as independently
