Interactive Brokers (U.K.) Limited is seeking a Global Operational Resilience Specialist to lead the firm’s Operational Resilience Program. The role reports to the Chief Risk Officer and is based in London. The specialist will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the Firmwide Operational Resilience Framework, providing subject matter expertise, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. They will collaborate with stakeholders to enhance resilience to business disruptions and maintain critical operations.Key responsibilities include:
  • Maintaining governance documentation for Operational Resilience and BCM programs.
  • Working with senior leaders to set risk appetite for Maximum Tolerable Downtimes.
  • Benchmarking the OpRes program against global regulations.
  • Providing training to staff on OpRes and BCM.
  • Representing Interactive Brokers to regulators.
  • Maintaining documentation on the Firms operating model.
  • Building and maintaining Business Impact Analyses.
  • Ensuring the Firms BCP accurately reflects capabilities and risk appetite.
  • Coordinating annual testing of BCPs and DR.
  • Integrating various programs like Incident Management, InfoSec, and Disaster Recovery.
The ideal candidate should have:
  • Significant experience in business continuity or disaster recovery at a finance, fintech, or IT company.
  • Deep understanding of global regulations on BCM, DR, Vendor Risk Management, and OpRes, including DORA.
  • Solid IT knowledge and the ability to be credible with IT management.
  • Demonstrated ability to execute business impact analyses and build response plans.
  • Experience using a GRC tool to manage data.
  • Excellent problem-solving and relationship management skills.
