Cloud Platform Engineer

Job Description

Interactive Brokers is seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Platform Engineer to join their Cloud Platform Operations team in Hyderabad, India. The candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the company's advanced cloud platform that powers critical business applications and services. He/she will work with cutting-edge technologies including AWS services, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, Data Lake and AI/ML integrations to deliver a reliable, secure, and scalable infrastructure.Role involves:

• Developing and enhancing IAAS codebase (HCL, Python).
• Enhancing and troubleshooting CI/CD workflows (Bitbucket, Jenkins, Nexus).
• Administering and scaling Kubernetes clusters for containerized applications.
• Implementing and supporting systems built on AWS Bedrock with RAG.
• Engineering Network, Security, IAM, integrations with cloud resources.
• Engineering Platform Reliability (Observability, Scaling, Capacity).
• Collaborating with Development, Security, and Operations teams to solve complex challenges.
• Documenting platform capabilities and creating self-service resources for internal users.

Requirements:

• Terraform Certified (Authoring and Operations).
• AWS Certifications for (Cloud Engineer/Devops Data Engineer/Solution Architect).
• Kubernetes Certification (CKA).
• 5+ years of experience in cloud platform engineering, with significant AWS focus.
• Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools, particularly Terraform/HCL.
• Advanced Python programming skills for automation and tooling.
• Expertise in engineering Docker containers.
• Kubernetes administration and deployment expertise.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, Lambda, EMR, etc.)
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve complex technical issues.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in collaborative environments.
