Job Description
Verkada is seeking a motivated and results-driven Account Executive to join their Mid-Market East Corp Team. This role is crucial for generating new business within mid-sized companies across various corporate sectors in the Eastern United States. The Account Executive will be responsible for managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals, and acting as a trusted advisor to customers and Channel Partners.Role involves:
  • Sourcing and closing new business to meet or exceed sales quotas.
  • Building an understanding of Verkada products.
  • Managing the full sales cycle: prospecting, demos, proposals, and closing.
  • Maintaining accurate pipeline management and forecasting.
  • Exceeding activity targets through proactive outreach.
  • Working with Channel Partners, Solutions Engineering & Technical Support.
  • Providing market feedback to the Product/Engineering team.
Requirements:
  • Ability to work in-office 5 days a week in San Mateo, California.
  • At least 2+ years of sales experience in a quota-carrying capacity.
  • Effective communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, competitive startup environment.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Salesforce experience is a plus.
  • Tenacity, drive to learn, and self-motivation.
