Job Description
PhonePe is seeking an Area Sales Manager to drive merchant acquisition and servicing in Aurangabad. The role involves managing a team of Business Development Executives and accelerating PhonePe's presence in the offline space. The Area Sales Manager will report to the Area Sales Manager.

Responsibilities:
  • Grow merchant network through acquisition and servicing.
  • Drive quality in execution through audits and reviews.
  • Meet merchants to present products and manage escalations.
  • Monitor competition and share inputs with leadership.
  • Ensure brand visibility in the assigned territory.
  • Facilitate hiring, onboarding, and training of BDEs/TLs.
  • Monitor KPIs and coach team members.
  • Drive execution rigor and motivate the team.

Requirements:
  • MBA from Tier 2/3 campus with good academic record.
  • 2-4 years of experience in sales managing a sales team.
  • Experience in Telecom, FMCG, or Retail (B2C preferred).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service focus.
  • Field sales experience with a proven track record.
  • Problem-solving abilities and strong ethics.
