Job Description
GitLab, an open core software company, is seeking a Director of Ecosystem Operations to build and operate a world-class Ecosystem business. This role involves fostering strong relationships with Cloud Partners, GSIs, Resellers, Distributors, and OEM partners. The Director will act as an owner of the details behind GitLab’s global Ecosystem business, including systems, operations, processes, data, and projects.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing methods, processes, systems, and tools to support partner Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success efforts.
- Driving cross-functional programs and initiatives to scale the business and integrate the partner ecosystem.
- Operating channel partner incentive programs and ensuring adherence to policies.
- Assisting in the development and rollout of partner-facing enablement practices.
- Driving alignment with Deal Desk, Quote to Cash, and Sales Operations teams.
- Exhibiting a strong understanding of Ecosystem compensation models.
Requirements include:
- BA/BS degree.
- Progressive relevant experience in Ecosystem operations, programs, strategy, and analytics.
- Experience working directly with partners on deal structures, operations, partner account management, and enablement.
- Strong analytical abilities and the ability to tell compelling stories with data.
- Experience managing and/or implementing partner and channel-specific tools (e.g., PRM).
- Deep SFDC (or similar CRM) expertise and knowledge of enterprise SaaS and/or licensing tools.
- Excellent problem-solving, project management, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- SaaS and B2B experience preferred.
- Interest in GitLab and open-source software.
