iCapital is seeking a Fund Origination Assistant Vice President to support its growing registered and direct fund business. This role, within the Client Success organization, focuses on manager onboarding and fund lifecycle management. The individual will lead and manage the onboarding and product lifecycle of various alternative investment vehicles. This team is central to iCapital’s growth into new markets and fund structures.
Responsibilities:
- Lead new registered and direct onboarding projects.
- Collaborate with clients, including asset managers and wealth managers.
- Drive prioritization and support building procedures within the iCapital ecosystem.
- Represent the company as a subject matter expert.
- Leverage experience to help shape iCapital’s service offering.
- Prepare and present new funds to decision-making groups.
- Assist in various ad hoc fund launch activities.
- Help drive the rollout of new platform functionality.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of product management and/or development experience.
- Experience in alternative investments with a focus in various fund structures.
- Positive attitude and a desire to work in a fast-moving environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new responsibilities.
- Detail-oriented, self-starter accustomed to project work with tight deadlines.
- Able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize assignments.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
