OpenTable is seeking a Senior Manager, Risk and Controls to join their Finance team. This role is based in New York, with a preference for 1-2 days per week in the office located in the Empire State Building. The Senior Manager will support the organization’s compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act and advance the maturity of the enterprise risk management framework. This individual will partner with cross-functional teams, senior leadership, and auditors to identify, assess, and mitigate material risks through effective internal controls.Role involves:
Leading risk assessments across the organization.
Developing and maintaining the company's internal controls framework.
Partnering with process owners to design and evaluate effective controls.
Managing the company's SOX compliance program.
Supporting the design and implementation of an ERM framework.
Collaborating with internal and external auditors.
Identifying and communicating control deficiencies.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
10+ years of experience in risk management, internal controls, or audit.
Significant experience in SOX compliance.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
Strong project management, prioritization, and organizational skills.
Prior supervisory or team leadership experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
CPA, CIA, and/or CISA certifications.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and G Suite.
