Job Description
Addepar is seeking a Portfolio Data Operations Analyst to join their Portfolio Data Operations team. This role is within the Addepar Engineering organization and focuses on ensuring clients have timely and high-quality data. The Analyst will oversee the processing of transactions and positions, ensure data quality through verification checks, and assist clients with data support questions. The Portfolio Data Operations team interacts daily with data providers, clients, and various personnel within Addepar.
What this role involves:
- Performing daily internal verification checks to ensure portfolio account data accuracy and availability.
- Investigating and troubleshooting data pipeline issues and feed processing exceptions.
- Maintaining operational workflows and identifying opportunities for optimization.
- Collaborating with Client Support, Solution Architects, and other teams to resolve client data inquiries.
- Partnering with Product and Engineering to design and implement new processes and tooling features.
- Participating in company initiatives to stand up new product functionality or services.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in the financial investment/advisory industry.
- Deep knowledge of capital markets, trade processing, and middle/back-office operations systems.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Team-oriented, dedicated, and forward-thinking attitude.
- Technical skills in Microsoft Excel, VBA, SQL, Python, Salesforce, Bloomberg, Thomson Reuters, or other financial services systems (preferred).
