Job Description
Addepar is seeking a Corporate Accountant to join their team in Pune, India. This role supports general accounting functions and requires working from the Pune office 3 days a week. Addepar is a global technology and data company that helps investment professionals provide informed guidance for their clients. Role involves:
  • Managing the general ledger
  • Preparing journal entries
  • Completing month-end closing tasks
  • Reconciling various accounts
  • Assisting with year-end financial statement audits and internal control documentation
  • Providing support for payroll operations
  • Performing cash applications for accounts payable transactions
  • Managing the Fixed Asset process, including asset creation and depreciation
  • Reviewing and validating accounts payable transactions

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields
  • Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred
  • Experience on Accounting ,Audit and payroll experience in a global setup is mandatory
  • 3+ years of Core Accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, work under pressure, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in financial reporting
  • Proficiency in accounting software, preferably NetSuite and Coupa, along with advanced Excel skills
