Job Description
Addepar is seeking a Corporate Accountant to join their team in Pune, India. This role supports general accounting functions and requires working from the Pune office 3 days a week. Addepar is a global technology and data company that helps investment professionals provide informed guidance for their clients. Role involves:
- Managing the general ledger
- Preparing journal entries
- Completing month-end closing tasks
- Reconciling various accounts
- Assisting with year-end financial statement audits and internal control documentation
- Providing support for payroll operations
- Performing cash applications for accounts payable transactions
- Managing the Fixed Asset process, including asset creation and depreciation
- Reviewing and validating accounts payable transactions
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields
- Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred
- Experience on Accounting ,Audit and payroll experience in a global setup is mandatory
- 3+ years of Core Accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks, work under pressure, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in financial reporting
- Proficiency in accounting software, preferably NetSuite and Coupa, along with advanced Excel skills
