Job Description
Axon is seeking a Training Specialist to become a subject matter expert on their Fusus product, supporting the NYPD. This role is pivotal in ensuring the NYPD effectively utilizes Axon's technology. The Training Specialist will work closely with the dedicated Fusus Team assigned to the NYPD, providing training and support for new implementations and software releases.
Responsibilities:
  • Be an expert on Fusus software solutions
  • Work in conjunction with the dedicated Fusus Team assigned to NYPD
  • Support NYPD personnel to achieve training objectives for new implementations and software releases.
  • Ensure NYPD personnel are successful in maximizing the use of the Fusus platform as a mission-critical tool at all levels within the organization.
  • Ensure proper documentation of work products in CRM and project management software tools.
  • Ability to present results and customer feedback, including those of a technical nature, to appropriate stakeholders within the Company.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience designing, delivering and/or managing public safety software testing, training, and/or implementation projects
  • Public safety experience is a plus
  • Previous experience working in a Real Time Crime Center preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word
  • Proven experience presenting material in a training environment
  • Strong, professional verbal/written communication and presentation skills
  • Strong leadership presence, advanced interpersonal skills, and the ability to collaborate with teams and strategic partners to produce value and cultivate an atmosphere of trust and mutual benefit
  • Excellent oral, interpersonal, and written communication skills
  • Strong team player with the ability to take initiative, work well with others and/or work well independently
  • Must pass a Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) background check and maintain confidential and highly sensitive information
