Job Description

Placements.io, a Seattle-based SaaS company, is seeking an Intermediate Front-End Developer to join their engineering team in Taiwan. This hybrid role involves collaborating with global colleagues on product features and building expertise in front-end or full-stack development.Role involves:

• Building and maintaining responsive web interfaces using React.
• Collaborating with backend engineers to integrate full-stack features.
• Working with product and design teams to bring features to life.
• Writing clean, maintainable code and participating in code reviews.
• Debugging, testing, and optimizing application performance.
• Supporting product improvements based on user feedback.
• Exploring opportunities to embed AI-driven functionality.

Requirements:

• 2–4 years of experience in a front-end or full-stack engineering role.
• Solid foundation in HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and React.
• Basic to intermediate experience with backend development (e.g., Node.js, Python).
• Understanding of REST APIs and client-server communication.
• Experience or curiosity in working with AI technologies.
• Comfortable using Git and working in a collaborative development environment.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Based in Taiwan.
