GitLab, an open core software company, is seeking a Professional Services Commercial Engagement Manager for the EMEA region. In this role, the individual will drive adoption of the GitLab platform's high-value functionality, acting as a sales overlay to shape customer engagements and accelerate positive business outcomes. The Engagement Manager will be a trusted advisor, providing guidance to Sales, Customer Success, and Professional Services Delivery teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities: - Perform discovery to understand customer needs and desired outcomes.
- Identify standard and custom services to align with customer outcomes.
- Build custom-scoped services engagement proposals for strategic customers.
- Explain technical solution proposals to account teams and customers.
- Meet and exceed financial targets.
- Explain GitLab Services value proposition and methodologies.
- Help customers understand commercial terms and guide account teams in executing legal agreements.
- Coordinate staffing requirements with the PS Operations team.
- Update quarterly bookings forecasts using Salesforce/Clari.
- Build relationships with Account Executives, Customer Success Managers, and Solutions Architects.
- Provide timely responses to customer inquiries.
Requirements: - Knowledge of professional services selling processes.
- Experience with Salesforce.
- Fluent English.
