Job Description
Xometry is seeking a Quality Manufacturing Engineer to enhance customer and Xometry performance. The candidate will collaborate with various teams to improve customer experience and prevent complaints. This role involves leading engineering activities, improving the Quality Management System, and managing a proactive system following AS9145/ IATF 16949 requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Leading engineering activities for internal and external customers.
- Improving the Quality Management System and related processes.
- Working cross-functionally with internal and external customer teams.
- Managing a proactive system following AS9145/ IATF 16949 requirements.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in quality engineering.
- Strong analytical & mechanical technical experience.
- Effective verbal and written English communicator.
- Effective facilitator of cross-functional team meetings.
- Good time management/project management capabilities.
- Ability to read and interpret 2D drawings/specifications.
- Strong experience in Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP).
- Minimum of 2 years’ working with Customers and Suppliers.
- Full understanding of IATF 16949 Automotive standard (or equivalent).
