Job Description

NEORIS, a digital accelerator with 20 years of experience, is seeking a DevOps AWS professional to join their team in Colombia. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on AWS and FinOps.

Role involves:

• Analyzing and optimizing AWS cloud costs.
• Implementing FinOps best practices.
• Designing and managing cost-efficient AWS architectures.
• Automating scaling policies and reserved instance management.
• Developing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Improving observability and monitoring.
• Collaborating with engineering and finance teams.
• Implementing right-sizing strategies.
• Optimizing containerized workloads.
• Enforcing tagging policies and cost allocation.

Requirements:

• 5+ years in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or SRE with a focus on AWS.
• Hands-on FinOps experience.
• Proficiency in AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, EKS, CloudWatch).
• Strong scripting/coding skills (Python, Bash, or similar).
• Experience with IaC tools (Terraform, AWS CDK, CloudFormation).
• Knowledge of container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline).
• Understanding of SRE principles (SLIs/SLOs, error budgets).
