PRN Pharmacist

Job Description

DLH Corporation is seeking a PRN Pharmacist to join their team. In this role, the pharmacist will be responsible for verifying mail order prescriptions for veterans in a closed-pharmacy production facility. This position offers a unique opportunity to work without retail duties.

• Assess drug orders and cross match with medications
• Compound and dispense medications
• Pre-verify medications loaded into specialized equipment
• Verify and fill Controlled Substance orders
• Perform Quality Assurance functions and supervise Pharmacy Technicians

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Graduate of an ACPE accredited school or university
• Hold a valid and unrestricted Pharmacist License in a U.S. state or territory
• Minimum of one year of recent pharmacist experience
• Ability to obtain VetPro certification
• Must be a U.S. citizen
• Demonstrate effective interpersonal communications
• Must be able to read and communicate in English
• Be able to lift 30 pounds
• Have the ability to stand or sit for long periods of time
• Be able to meet all regular hours and overtime hours that are required by the facility
• Must be able to pass a Federal background check (no felony convictions)
• Must be able to pass drug screening, including THC (marijuana)

• Flexible PRN scheduling (0-3 days per week)
• First shift hours (6:30am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday)
