Job Description

ClinChoice is seeking a Principal Biostatistician to join their biometrics team in Stirling, UK. This is a hybrid, full-time permanent position. The Principal Biostatistician will be responsible for protocol development and statistical analysis plans for assigned studies, providing statistical oversight and ensuring quality and consistency with project requirements.

Role Involves:

  • Protocol development including study design, sample size calculation, randomization, and statistical analysis plan.
  • Providing statistical oversight to studies.
  • Ensuring data accuracy and consistency for statistical analyses.
  • Developing statistical analysis plans.
  • Validating analysis and exploring alternative strategies.
  • Ensuring accuracy and consistency of statistical tables, figures, and data listings.
  • Writing statistical methods sections for reports.
  • Mentoring peers and providing training to less experienced statisticians.
  • Managing activities of statisticians across projects.

Requirements:

  • MS or PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics, or related field.
  • PhD with 3-5 years of experience or MS with 7-8 years of experience.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Understanding of statistics, drug development process, and FDA regulations.
  • Pharmaceutical, CRO, or related industry experience with clinical trials.
