Job Description
KAYAK, a leading travel search engine, is seeking a data-focused and performance-driven Analyst to join their Commercial Strategy team in London. This role will support the LATAM & EMEA regions, requiring a strong business intuition and excellent analytical skills. The Analyst will work closely with various teams within KAYAK, using data to identify and prioritize opportunities to drive revenue and partner growth.
In this role, the candidate will:
- Provide strategic guidance to optimize partner advertising campaigns.
- Analyze large datasets to identify and prioritize information.
- Deliver account insights and business presentations through data visualizations.
- Transform complex data into pivotal initiatives to support commercial teams.
- Monitor key business metrics, including traffic patterns and A/B test results.
- Cultivate relationships with account owners and client success teams.
- Drive cross-regional and vertical projects to contribute to organizational growth.
- Monitor market trends and identify growth opportunities for partners.
The ideal candidate should have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Data Science, Economics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in analytics, preferably in travel or e-commerce.
- Excellent MS Excel, Google Sheets, and Google Slides knowledge.
- Proficiency in business intelligence tools (Tableau, Power BI, Google Looker Studio).
- Basic SQL knowledge; experience with Cognos is a plus.
- Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
