Blockchain.com is seeking a Senior Web3 Engineer to join their team in London. The ideal candidate will be passionate about Web3 and thrive in a fast-paced environment. This role involves building innovative financial and crypto-native products and APIs, playing a pivotal role in delivering cutting-edge onchain solutions.Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack Web3 applications.
• Implement smart contracts using languages such as Solidity (EVM) or Rust (SVM).
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineers, designers, and product stakeholders.
• Take ownership of the entire software lifecycle.
• Integrate blockchain protocols and wallets.
• Leverage the latest AI tools to enhance productivity and maintain high code quality.
• Stay up to date with the rapidly evolving blockchain ecosystem.

Requirements:

• Proven experience building and shipping Web3 applications.
• Strong command of frontend technologies, including React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript tooling.
• Deep knowledge of backend development, including RESTful APIs, databases, and secure infrastructure practices.
• Hands-on experience with smart contract development in Solidity (EVM) or Rust (SVM).
• Familiarity with Ethereum, Solana, or similar blockchain ecosystems.
• Experience working with Web3 libraries and tools such as ethers.js, web3.js, or wagmi.
• A strong sense of ownership and the ability to drive projects independently.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and work effectively in a fast-changing environment.
• Commitment to code quality, including writing unit/integration tests and applying engineering best practices.
