Job Description
BitGo is seeking a Compliance Analyst to join its Compliance team at BitGo Custody MENA in Dubai. This junior to mid-level role is designed for someone eager to grow in a fast-paced, regulated virtual asset environment. The Compliance Analyst will support day-to-day compliance operations, assist with onboarding reviews, and help maintain the firm’s AML/CFT program in line with the UAE’s Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (VARA) requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with institutional and individual onboarding reviews.
- Support the execution of the firm’s AML/CTF framework.
- Conduct Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) on high-risk clients.
- Monitor and maintain client risk profiles.
- Support regulatory reporting requirements.
- Liaise with internal teams to resolve compliance-related issues.
- Maintain compliance registers and internal trackers.
- Assist with preparing documentation for audits and regulatory inspections.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and help with implementing policy updates.
Requirements:
- 1–3 years of experience in a compliance, onboarding, or AML role.
- Solid understanding of AML/CTF principles and client due diligence.
- Familiarity with UAE’s regulatory environment, especially VARA.
- Strong research and writing skills.
- Professional fluency in English; Arabic is a plus.
