Job Description
Sony Music Entertainment France is seeking a Finance Intern for a 6-month internship starting in July 2025. This internship offers valuable experience in project management, strategy, and financial analysis within the music industry.
Role involves:
- Financial analysis of investment projects
- Strategic and financial analysis of potential signings
- Development of operational and valuation models (DCF)
- Market analysis studies
- Support to labels (RCA, EPIC, Columbia, etc.) in decision-making
- Strategic reflection on key negotiation conditions
- Risk awareness
- KPI dashboard development
- Collaborative workshops with A&R teams
- Application Roster parameter settings and contract updates
- Performance tracking vs. negotiation assumptions
- Balance sheet monitoring
- KPI analysis and presentation preparation
- Monitoring of subsidiaries and independent labels
- Participation in defining and implementing optimized financial monitoring of subsidiaries
- Preparation of operational reports
- Optimization and monitoring of negotiation repository
- Documentation and regular updating of standard data
- Market analysis proposal
- Automation of processes and analyses: Dashboard creation in PowerBI
Requirements:
- Student in Master finance
- Appetite for the music industry
- Initiation to operational controlling and/or financial analysis
- Experience in Finance (Investment Banking, M&A, Corporate Finance) is appreciated
- Rigor, organization, synthesis and analysis skills
- English proficiency
- Soft skills, relational skills, enthusiasm and curiosity
Role offers:
- Minimum legal compensation (669.90€ gross per month)
- 50% reimbursement of transport costs
