Job Description
Apollo.io is seeking a Learning & Capability Development Manager to join their team. This role is pivotal in driving performance, growth, and innovation through strategic learning initiatives. The Learning & Development team at Apollo is focused on building a world-class learning ecosystem that empowers team members and aligns their development with business impact. The ideal candidate will be passionate about solving business problems through learning and leveraging AI and technology to move fast.
Role involves:
- Owning the strategy, design, and delivery of high-priority learning programs.
- Leveraging AI and learning science to build scalable and engaging learning experiences.
- Acting as the primary learning partner for functional leaders.
- Using Apollo’s Learning Platforms and AI tools to streamline content development and learner engagement.
- Partnering with SMEs to define role-specific skills and build programs to close skill gaps.
- Setting up evaluation mechanisms to measure impact and improve learning interventions.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in Learning and Capability Development or a similar role.
- Proven experience building and operationalizing skill taxonomies and capability frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability to design, prototype, and scale learning programs.
- Practical experience leveraging AI tools to streamline content creation and personalize learning experiences.
- Strong ability to partner with business leaders and translate strategic priorities into learning initiatives.
- Comfortable balancing high-level strategy with tactical execution.
- Deep understanding of instructional design and adult education principles.
- Operates as a self-directed learner who regularly investigates new learning methods and tools.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
