Job Description
Diligent is seeking an Account Executive I to drive revenue growth and deepen customer engagement. The Account Executive will expand product adoption among current customers and introduce new clients to Diligent's platform. This role demands strategic vision, proactive relationship-building, and a relentless pursuit of excellence.
The Account Executive will be responsible for engaging prospects, managing a robust pipeline, delivering accurate forecasts, and closing deals. They will act as a trusted advisor and strategist, lead account planning, orchestrate internal collaboration, and leverage expertise to elevate customer success and revenue growth.
Responsibilities:
- Build deep knowledge of Diligent’s products and solutions.
- Prospect new and existing business within the designated vertical/territory.
- Adopt a ‘solutions’ selling approach.
- Build deep relationships with prospects and customers.
- Develop and execute on account plans.
- Lead the coordination of Sales stakeholders.
- Develop specialized business plans for customers.
- Present business plans to customers.
- Create and lead feedback loop processes with product management and product marketing.
- Manage the end-to-end sales cycle.
- Utilize sales tools to prospect new leads.
- Maintain SFDC records, forecast, and report on projected bookings.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of the competitor landscape.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of success in account management, new business acquisition, and exceeding revenue targets.
- Experience in highly regulated industries, SaaS, or GRC space is preferred.
- Ability to build trust and influence senior leaders.
