Developer, Portworx Enterprise

Job Description

Pure Storage is seeking a Developer for their Portworx Enterprise team in Bangalore, India. The candidate will contribute to the Portworx suite of products, focusing on clean code, customer orientation, and quality. The developer will be involved in developing a new SaaS platform to provide a secure and consistent experience for customers using Portworx offerings.

Responsibilities:

• Designing and developing cloud-native microservices.
• Integrating new features into Portworx products.
• Focusing on design, development, unit/functional testing, code reviews, documentation, continuous integration, and continuous deployment.
• Collaborating with peers and stakeholders to take solutions from initial design to production.
• Taking full ownership of design and development activity by adapting to customer feedback.
• Experimenting with new technologies to innovate new solutions.

Requirements:

• BS in Computer Science or related technical field.
• 4+ years of experience in designing, developing, and testing product components using C++, Java, or Go.
• Good understanding of Microservices Architecture and cloud-native platforms.
• Experience designing and implementing high-quality, testable, maintainable, optimal, production-grade microservices.
• Expert debugging skills and ability to navigate ambiguous problems at scale in public/private cloud environments.
• Experience working with multiple stakeholders.
• Proven design sensibility and willingness to work in a collaborative environment.
• Solid CS background in data structures, algorithms, and software design.
