Job Description
Twilio is seeking a Compliance Operations Specialist 1 to join their team. This remote position, based in Colombia, involves reviewing alerts and accounts for SMS and voice compliance, ensuring adherence to Twilio’s policies, CTIA, and TCPA requirements. The ideal candidate will be passionate about preventing fraud and abuse, with strong research and investigation skills.

About the Role:
  • Investigating cases efficiently and performing analysis to understand bad actor behavior.
  • Protecting Twilio customers and consumers by identifying non-compliant activity and taking action to stop bad actors.
  • Identifying trends and recommending preventative solutions.
  • Using call detail records and aggregate traffic data to identify patterns.
  • Resolving urgent issues impacting businesses, carriers, and consumers worldwide.

Requirements:
  • Willingness to work a non-traditional schedule (weekends, holidays, evenings).
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
  • Empathy and a love for solving customer and carrier problems with data.
  • Detail-oriented with good organizational skills and comfortable with ambiguity.
  • Above average written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with industry partners to resolve issues and build trust.
  • Ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good time management and organizational skills.
  • Basic math skills.
