Job Description
dbt Labs is seeking a Technical Program Manager to scale its dbt Private Academy offering for Premier Support customers. The Technical Program Manager will oversee the customer experience from intake to completion, manage program delivery across 100+ customer accounts, and drive continuous improvements to internal systems and processes. This person will collaborate closely with Training, Onboarding, and Sales teams to ensure each Private Academy experience is seamless, repeatable, and impactful.Role involves:
- Serving as the primary point of contact for all dbt Private Academy customers.
- Managing timelines, milestones, and customer engagement across 100+ accounts.
- Creating scalable systems to track progress and flag risks.
- Collaborating with the training team to optimize LMS configuration and course access logistics.
- Maintaining clear documentation for internal teams and customer stakeholders.
- Leading cross-functional projects to improve the Private Academy offering.
- Analyzing usage and satisfaction data to report on program health.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in program or project management in a customer-facing, SaaS, or education setting.
- Exceptional organization skills.
- Clear and professional English communication, especially written.
- Comfortability working in fast-moving or ambiguous environments.
- A track record of improving processes and making things scale.
- A love of solving operational challenges.
