Job Description
Lightspeed is seeking a Senior Capital Collections Specialist to join their global team. This role is pivotal in managing complex recovery cases, driving strategic initiatives, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will blend strategic thinking with empathetic communication, engaging with merchants to understand their situations and offer solutions.
Role Involves:
- Managing at-risk capital advance accounts.
- Negotiating viable repayment plans.
- Identifying data trends and potential issues in collections.
- Partnering with internal teams (Product, Underwriting, Eligibility, and Compliance).
- Ensuring adherence to relevant laws and regulations.
- Leveraging data analytics for strategic recovery initiatives.
- Providing recommendations for process improvements.
- Maintaining in-depth knowledge of Lightspeed Capital products and systems.
- Providing insights on recovery policies and playbooks.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in collections or a target-driven call center environment.
- Experience in collections for a financial institution.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to work autonomously and efficiently.
- Experience within the fintech or e-commerce industry (asset).
- Experience with data reporting tools (Looker or BigQuery) is advantageous.
