Job Description

Lightspeed is seeking a Senior Capital Collections Specialist to join their global team. This role is pivotal in managing complex recovery cases, driving strategic initiatives, and ensuring strict regulatory compliance. The successful candidate will engage with merchants, requiring a blend of strategic thinking and empathetic communication.

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate compassion and empathy for customers.
• Perform outbound communications to manage at-risk capital advance accounts.
• Identify daily data to detect trends and potential issues in collections.
• Partner with internal teams to drive solutions and provide regular reporting.
• Ensure all recovery activities adhere to relevant laws and regulations.
• Leverage data analytics to identify trends and inform strategic recovery initiatives.
• Offer recommendations for process improvements.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of Lightspeed Capital products and systems.
• Provide insights on recovery policies and playbooks.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in collections or a target-driven call center environment.
• Experience doing collections for a financial institution.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work autonomously and efficiently.
• Experience within the fintech or e-commerce industry is an asset.
• Experience with data reporting tools is advantageous.
