Job Description

Lightspeed is seeking a Senior People Business Partner for a 12-month maternity cover contract. This role can be based in either Paris or London. The People Business Partner will be the primary contact for people-related projects, collaborating with People & Culture colleagues, stakeholders, and leaders to implement a strategic people plan. They will support the Sales teams in France and the UK, the Enablement team across EMEA, and other departments as needed.

Role Involves:

  • Providing strategic HR leadership to business leaders.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor and coach to senior leadership.
  • Serving as the first point of contact for employee relations matters.
  • Leading data-driven discussions with business leaders.
  • Partnering with cross-functional stakeholders on core HR programs.
  • Leading and contributing to key strategic projects and change initiatives.
  • Driving organisational design and workforce planning efforts.
  • Supporting managers in their day-to-day responsibilities.
  • Collaborating with global P&C partners.
  • Acting as a cultural ambassador.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in an HR Generalist and People Business Partner function within a software technology company.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR or related discipline.
  • Fluency in French and English.
  • In-depth knowledge of French employment law; UK employment law is a plus.
  • Experience working on large, global and complex projects.
  • Superb communication, coaching, and influencing skills.
  • Keen interest in Diversity, equity and inclusion.
  • Exceptional relationship building skills.
  • Out of the box thinker with a strong desire to bring in metrics and insights.
