Job Description
Lightspeed is seeking a Senior Product Marketing Manager to drive growth for its Retail product line in North America. This role involves shaping the go-to-market strategy, crafting impactful messaging, conducting market analysis, gathering customer feedback, and executing programs to achieve business objectives. The Senior Product Marketing Manager will serve as the voice of the customer for the North America region, ensuring their needs are met across all marketing touchpoints. This position requires building strong relationships with various teams, including product, marketing, sales, and customer service.Responsibilities:
  • Becoming an expert in the retail industry and understanding the technology landscape
  • Owning the market research roadmap and gleaning nuanced market insights
  • Maintaining a deep understanding of our customers and validating user personas
  • Developing the go-to-market strategy for Lightspeed Retail in North America
  • Being the go-to person for messaging around our products and value proposition
  • Collaborating on launching new products and features
  • Collaborating with sales and partner teams to develop materials that enable teams to sell and deliver new offerings
  • Developing collaborative relationships with various cross-functional teams
  • Developing a roadmap of marketing initiatives that spans the customer lifecycle
  • Working closely with Content, Design, Marketing Automation, and Product teams to develop creative and compelling content
Requirements:
  • 5+ years experience in product marketing, growth or lifecycle marketing, or similar go-to-market experience
  • Previous background in SaaS marketing
  • Experience working with product and engineering teams
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Ability to build, maintain, and manage close working relationships
  • Strong quantitative analytical ability and excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Genuine interest in and curiosity in helping SMBs succeed
