Job Description

SonicWall, a cybersecurity forerunner with over 30 years of expertise, is seeking a Field Solutions Engineer. This role involves supporting sales and channel technical activities, with approximately 70% of the work being office-based or remote within Egypt and up to 30% travel.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a passion for technology, capable of enabling teams and connecting with people to address their requirements. They should possess hands-on experience with cybersecurity products and demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Leading technical discovery conversations to qualify customer requirements.
  • Conducting technical sales presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Building trusted relationships with channel partners.
  • Maintaining a personal lab for common demo requests.
  • Supporting remote partner product trials.
  • Participating in beta testing and providing product feedback.
  • Teaming with support to maintain partner and customer relationships.
  • Supporting key technical marketing initiatives.
  • Developing expertise in SonicWall product areas.
  • Sharing best practices with peers.
  • Providing support for onboarding new solutions engineers.
  • Keeping regional sales informed of product updates.
  • Adhering to company values and reporting tasks.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 8 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree or 5 years’ experience with MBA.
  • Cyber Security CISSP Certified.
  • Microsoft Azure or AWS Associate desired.
  • Retaining specialist knowledge across SonicWall products to the desired level SNSA & SNSP SonicWall Certified.
  • Familiarity with governance and compliance issues.
  • Working knowledge of HIPAA, PCI, SOX, FERPA, CIPA, GDPR, etc.
  • Experience with L2-L7 networking technologies, firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, and virtualization platforms.
  • Must speak English and Arabic to a minimum of a professional proficiency.
