GitLab is seeking a Professional Services Engineer to engage with customers, providing installation, migration, training, and advisory services. This role involves handling installations, migrations, and offering advisory services across the GitLab feature stack. The Professional Services Engineer will interface with customers and GitLab's Product/Engineering teams to ensure customer success and drive improvements into GitLab features and processes. They will use a consultative approach, deliver on SOWs, and contribute to documentation and process improvements. They will also manage creation of new and/or maintenance of existing artifacts and templates for deliverables and training.

Responsibilities include:
  • Using a consultative approach to customer engagements.
  • Delivering on SOW with guidance from technical architects.
  • Providing technical training sessions remotely and/or on-site.
  • Developing and implementing migration plans for customer VCS & data migration.

Requirements include:
  • Professional exposure with IaC/CaC technologies like Terraform, Ansible, Packer, Puppet, or Chef.
  • Professional exposure with cloud providers like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
  • Experience using, deploying, or configuring GitLab.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
