Data Analyst - Risk

Job Description

Easygo is seeking a Data Analyst with a specialization in risk management to safeguard its platform's integrity. The Data Analyst will play a pivotal role in proactive monitoring, analysis, and regular reporting of customer activity to detect and mitigate potential risks.

The company is a prominent service provider to brands within the iGaming industry, including Stake.com, Kick.com, and Twist Gaming. Headquartered in Melbourne, Easygo has grown to a workforce of 500+.

Role Involves:

• Monitoring and analysing customer activity, transaction patterns, and gameplay to identify irregularities and potential risks.
• Conducting detailed investigations into flagged or reported risks, delivering timely assessments and resolutions.
• Building Python-based risk tools to automate risk-based projects.
• Developing and delivering regular reports to stakeholders, offering insights to guide decision-making and enhance risk mitigation strategies.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to refine risk detection and monitoring protocols.
• Continuously improving risk assessment methodologies.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in data analytics.
• Experience working with large transactional datasets in fraud, forensic, remediation, or risk-related data roles.
• Proficiency in data analysis and visualisation tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI).
• Strong experience with Python and various Python packages.
• Experience with SQL.
• Strong problem-solving and analysis skills.
