GitLab, an open core software company, is seeking a Professional Services Engineer in EMEA, to be based remotely in France. The Professional Services Engineer will engage with customers to provide installation, migration, training, and advisory services. They will work on installations, migrations, and advisory services across the GitLab feature stack. The engineer is expected to interface with customers and GitLab Product/Engineering teams. This role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, with a focus on customer success and driving improvements in GitLab features and processes.Responsibilities:
  • Uses a consultative approach to customer engagements
  • Delivers on SOW with guidance from technical architects
  • Provides technical training sessions remotely and/or on-site
  • Develops and implements migration plans for customer VCS & data migration
  • Supports engagement managers on quoting and scoping of SOWs
Requirements:
  • Professional exposure with one or more IaC/CaC technologies
  • Professional exposure with one or more cloud providers
  • Proficiency in the English language
  • Experience using, deploying, or configuring GitLab
  • Fluent French
