Job Description
Anaplan is seeking a Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager to join its Technology Sourcing Team. This role is crucial for driving supplier strategy, optimizing cost structures, and managing supplier risk. The Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager will partner with Engineering, IT, legal, finance, and business stakeholders to ensure efficient and value-driven procurement practices. This is a hybrid role based out of San Francisco, San Ramon, Miami, Minneapolis, New York, or Ottawa, requiring two days/week onsite.
Role involves:
- Developing and implementing sourcing strategies for technology spend categories.
- Leading end-to-end RFX processes, negotiations, and vendor selections.
- Managing key supplier relationships and performance.
- Acting as a strategic advisor to internal partners on procurement best practices.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and security standards.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in indirect sourcing, procurement, or category management, with a focus on the technology category.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic sourcing and category management strategies in technology categories.
- Proven negotiation skills and a track record of achieving significant cost savings.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Deep knowledge of category products and concepts.
