Job Description
OKX is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead Growth Product engineering teams. This role involves architecting and scaling backend systems for OKX's global user growth engine. The Engineering Manager will drive technical vision and execution for core growth platforms, working cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Growth, and Data teams.

Role involves:
  • Leading backend architecture for growth-related platforms.
  • Leading engineering efforts on Paid Ads, Affiliate, Referral Programs, and SEO/ASO tools.
  • Leading and mentoring backend engineering teams.
  • Collaborating with Growth Product Managers, Marketing, Data, and BI teams.
  • Overseeing system integration with third-party platforms.
  • Establishing engineering excellence standards.
  • Implementing new technologies to improve growth engineering.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of backend engineering experience, with 3+ years in an engineering leadership role.
  • Experience leading backend engineering for growth systems.
  • Hands-on experience with microservices, distributed systems, data pipelines, and API development.
  • Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and modern backend architectures.
  • Understanding of digital marketing ecosystems.
  • Experience working with Growth, Marketing, and Data teams.
  • Problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
