• Research, design, implement, train, deploy, and monitor machine learning algorithms for batch prediction or real-time applications.
• Develop orchestrated pipelines for analytical purposes and machine learning training.
• Contribute to automation efforts for experiments, training, validation, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with MLOps to improve machine learning tooling.
• Create and iterate on state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms for merchant and product audiences.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in the machine learning field.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a machine learning or data scientist.
• Experience with the full machine learning model lifecycle in production flows.
• Experience building and deploying Deep Learning models.
• Experience leveraging a big data framework to create pipelines for feeding models.
• Good understanding of software engineering practices, data engineering, and MLOps principles.
• Knowledge of data science, statistics, and machine learning techniques, including statistical inference, machine learning for prediction, and causal inference.
• Strong familiarity with data science toolkit such as (py)spark, (Trino) SQL, Tensorflow, PyTorch, XGBoost/LightGBM, Pandas, MLFlow or similar MLOps frameworks, and Airflow.
• Experimental mindset with a launch fast and iterate mentality.
• Proactive leadership in projects from ideation to deployment.
• Experience working with stakeholders and communicating complex outcomes.
