Job Description
Adyen is seeking a Senior Product Manager to join their Accounting group. This role involves leading the development of scalable accounting systems that support Adyen’s payments and banking operations. The Senior Product Manager will collaborate with Engineering, Finance, Treasury, and Risk teams to enhance journal processing, reconciliation workflows, and financial observability. This is a high-impact position focused on the structural evolution of Adyen’s financial operations.
What this role involves:
- Owning and driving the evolution of Adyen’s accounting software.
- Defining and prioritizing initiatives to improve journal processing and ledger scalability.
- Partnering with Finance, Treasury, and Risk teams for accurate financial data management.
- Leading efforts to improve real-time fund monitoring and reconciliation accuracy.
- Working with engineers to build robust APIs for journal booking and reporting.
- Driving a data governance strategy for high data integrity.
- Influencing the long-term scalability and infrastructure strategy.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager in fintech, financial software, or accounting systems.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reconciliation processes.
- Experience working with high-scale financial data systems.
- Technical fluency in building APIs and scaling financial infrastructure.
- Data-driven decision-making skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
