Job Description
Tenstorrent is seeking an IT Administrator to join their team in Santa Clara, CA. The IT Administrator will be responsible for developing and optimizing onboarding and off-boarding plans, troubleshooting technical issues, and collaborating across multiple offices. This role requires an on-site presence in Santa Clara, CA.
- Serve as the primary IT representative for onboarding and offboarding employees.
- Troubleshoot basic network issues and escalate effectively.
- Collaborate with internal teams and 3rd party vendors.
- Contribute to the continual service improvement of IT support services.
- Create and maintain knowledge articles and manuals for systems and applications.
- Assist in Incident Management and contribute to Problem Management.
- Deployment, maintenance, support, and monitoring of infrastructure.
- Act as an on-site desk-side IT presence, supporting and troubleshooting local technical issues.
- Configure, add, and maintain laptop, printer, server, and network inventory.
Requirements: - Degree/diploma in Computer Science-related field or demonstrated combination of education and experience.
- 1+ years of general experience with Network management.
- 1+ years of experience with general IT support, onsite or call center experience.
- Familiarity with Office 365, Entra, and Azure Active Directory.
- Proficiency in MacOS, IOS, Android, and Windows 10/11.
- Working knowledge of computer hardware (Apple & PC’s, laptops, desktops, monitors, and peripherals).
- Experience with various IT tools and SaaS applications.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate ideas to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong documentation abilities.
- Willing and able to work autonomously with limited onsite oversight.
- Some experience with Veeam Backups or similar tools.
- Some experience with firewalls (Fortinet) and Linux-based firewall (IPTABLES/IPCHAINS).
