City Storage Systems is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead their software engineering team in Mountain View, CA. The Engineering Manager will play a crucial role in guiding the team to achieve both short-term and long-term operational goals. They will be responsible for fostering strong relationships with business leaders and project managers throughout the entire product lifecycle, from initial concept to launch. The ideal candidate will possess a strategic mindset, capable of making informed decisions that balance immediate needs with long-term objectives.Role involves:

• Leading, directing, coaching, and reviewing the work of software engineering personnel.
• Maintaining strong relationships with business leaders and PMs.
• Analyzing product requirements and developing comprehensive work plans.
• Providing accurate project estimations.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of total software engineering experience.
• 3+ years of leadership experience.
• Demonstrated ability to make strategic decisions.
