Senior Software Engineer

Job Description

Spektrum is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support key client projects for the NATO Communication and Information Agency (NCIA) in The Hague, Netherlands. The NCIA is responsible for providing secure and effective communications and IT services to NATO's member countries and partners. This role involves contributing to the Interoperability Toolset development within the Assurance Tools Section.Role involves:

• Designing an Observability solution.
• Creating automated deployment and configuration scripts.
• Implementing and deploying a pilot of the Observability solution.
• Integrating the IO Toolset into the observability solution.
• Designing and implementing dashboards.
• Supporting the software in operational environments.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience designing and developing IT systems.
• Experience with Observability solutions and data visualization dashboards in a Microsoft-oriented architecture.
• Experience with authentication and authorization flows (OAuth, OIDC using Keycloak).
• Experience with instrumenting .NET applications using Open Telemetry.
• Experience integrating an observability solution in a Microsoft-oriented stack.
• Experience with security and secure coding principles.
• Experience with ElasticSearch, Logstash, Kibana or equivalent.
• Experience with Docker and Azure DevOps pipelines.
• Experience with PowerShell.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience working in a team of 5+ developers and testers.
• Valid National or NATO Secret personal security clearance
