Banyan Software is seeking a Director of Sales and Marketing to lead the go-to-market function for their admissions management software company. This role involves building a growth engine within a niche, mission-driven software company that’s part of the Banyan portfolio. The Director will own the full sales funnel, drive awareness, build relationships, and close deals. They will also shape the marketing strategy, work directly with leadership, and set the foundation for a future team.
- Define the company’s marketing and sales strategy.
- Shape market positioning and messaging.
- Develop and execute marketing initiatives and collateral.
- Manage CRM and marketing automation tools.
- Own the end-to-end sales process.
- Develop and execute lead generation strategies.
- Build and manage a pipeline of qualified leads.
- Conduct discovery calls, product walkthroughs, and ROI-driven sales conversations.
- 10+ years in sales, marketing, or go-to-market roles — preferably in EdTech or SaaS.
- Experience selling to education stakeholders.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with CRM and marketing tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.).
- Autonomy to build from scratch.
- Direct impact on how schools run admissions.
- Shape the voice and growth strategy of a trusted EdTech product.
