Ruby Engineer (Freelance / Remote)

Maximon is seeking a skilled Ruby Engineer to contribute to the future of longevity. The engineer will play a crucial role in developing both internal infrastructure and a customer-facing AI Health Platform. Maximon is a longevity investor and company builder focused on healthy aging and lifespan extension.Role involves:

• Designing, building, and maintaining backend systems using Ruby
• Collaborating with venture and operations teams to develop tools
• Implementing integrations with third-party services and APIs
• Writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
• Optimizing the performance and reliability of internal platforms
• Contributing to technical planning and architectural decisions
• Supporting occasional product development needs

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a backend engineer working with Ruby on Rails
• Strong interest in AI for healthcare
• Passion for health, science, or longevity (a major plus)
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote environment
• Ability to balance speed and quality
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Fluency in English
