QA Engineer

Job Description

Via is seeking a QA Engineer to join their team in Tel Aviv. Via is a company focused on transforming transportation through technology. The QA Engineer will be responsible for validating the quality of Via’s products and ensuring the delivery of reliable solutions.

The QA Engineer will work closely with engineering and product teams throughout all stages of development. They will develop test scenarios and documentation, write test plans and test cases, and perform manual testing across various environments. The role also involves identifying and reproducing bugs, providing feedback on product quality, and setting up and maintaining test environments.

What this role involves:

• Being involved in all stages of development
• Working closely with engineering and product teams
• Developing test scenarios and documentation
• Creating and writing test plans and test cases
• Writing automated tests using in-house test tools
• Manual testing on a wide variety of environments
• Identifying and reproducing bugs
• Providing feedback on product quality and user experience
• Setting up and maintaining test environments

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience as a QA Engineer
• Experience with QA methodologies and testing processes
• Experience in writing testing documents
• Strong knowledge of testing processes and understanding of Agile methodologies
• Experience with back-end and API testing
• Experience with testing on cloud environments (AWS)
• Highly independent, passionate, self-motivated and autodidact
• Technically minded, with an ability to think out of the box and find solutions for complex testing scenarios
• Investigator and detail-oriented with an ability to see the bigger picture
• Excellent communicator with a good ability to work collaboratively with others
