Job Description
Via is seeking a Product Manager, Transit Operations to lead a complex set of products impacting public sector transit agencies. This role involves extending Via’s transit dispatch platform to paratransit, school buses, and fixed lines. The Product Manager will design features for special needs populations, aid agencies in securing funding, and build products that increase efficiency and rider satisfaction. They will partner with engineers, build roadmaps, and collaborate with stakeholders globally.
What this role involves:
- Charting the path for extending Via’s industry leading transit dispatch platform
- Designing features with an eye towards special needs populations
- Envisioning diverse user journeys based on the populations we are serving
- Designing products that serve rides based on rider eligibility, special conditions and disability aids
- Aiding agencies in securing funding for their transit operations
- Building products that help transit agencies increase efficiency for their staff while increasing rider satisfaction
Requirements:
- Minimum of 7 years of Product Management experience in B2C or B2B SaaS products
- Excellent collaborative written and verbal fluency in English
- Able to digest market research & customer feedback along with having a crisp understanding of technical requirements and constraints
- Demonstrated success in handling an end-to-end product lifecycle
- Excellent analytical abilities and a strong business acumen
- A great multitasker who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment
- Pro-active and independent achiever, self-learner, able to handle a task from idea to production
- Team Player, with great communication/listening skills and a can-do attitude
- Thrive in fast-paced environments
